QScience

QScience consists of a reshuffling of the EconoPhysics Forum, a web-based publication created by Fribourg University in 1998. The EconoPhysics Forum has served as a platform for the exchange of ideas between its community members and as a website gathering online publications for interdisciplinary and complex sciences. However, it lacked IT upgrades which compromised its appeal to users.

QScience version 1.0 constitutes the first version of the EconoPhysics Forum that is open to input from its users. It provides simple tools for making recommendations and building communities of users.

As a result of QScience version 1.0, the EconoPhysics Forum now includes the following
New Functions:

• User accounts and personal pages
• Direct user contributions to all sections of the website (except for editorials)
• Generation of statistics and trends from data on user behaviour
